MIDDLE SCHOOL
Welcome to the Middle School program at Independence Christian School, where students in these formative years experience a rich and engaging program that challenges them across diverse subject areas. In addition to strong academics, students have opportunities to participate in athletics, performing arts, music, and other enriching activities.
Our small class sizes provide individualized attention and meaningful one-on-one support, helping students thrive across the full breadth of our academic program.
Independence Christian prepares students for the academic challenges of high school and beyond. Our success is reflected in strong performance on standardized testing, where our students consistently perform in the top quartile nationally, with particular strength in math and reading.
Student achievement is also recognized through academic honors. Students who earn a GPA of 3.75 or above are recognized as Principal’s Award students, while those earning a GPA of 3.50 to 3.74 are recognized as Honor Roll students.
Our curriculum goes beyond academics by helping students develop a biblical worldview and by fulfilling our mission of teaching each child that they are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. Our teachers are committed to modeling Christian principles, demonstrating strong character, and providing excellent instruction. Our faculty is highly qualified, with teachers holding either a teaching credential or a master’s degree in education, and together these qualities help provide students with balanced, Christ-centered role models during these important years.
