PERFORMING ARTS
Independence Christian School is proud to be part of the Cornerstone Church family, providing students with the opportunity to cultivate their passion for the arts alongside their love for the Savior through the Cornerstone Academy of Performing Arts (CAPA). CAPA offers classes in dance, music, theater, and voice in a Christ-centered environment that encourages creativity, growth, and excellence.
SCHOOL OF MUSIC
Our music program currently offers private lessons in guitar, drums, piano, violin, and more. Our talented instructors take time to get to know each student and tailor every lesson to their individual skill level, creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students can grow musically and enjoy the learning process.
SCHOOL OF DANCE
Our dance program offers a range of classes for all ages and experience levels. Students can begin with introductory ballet and tap combinations starting at age three, and progress through advanced pre-professional and professional-level training. We also offer beginning dance classes for teens and adults, providing an encouraging environment for students at every stage of their dance journey.
VOCAL COACHING

Every child is born with an instrument—their voice. At CAPA, we encourage students to make a joyful noise unto the Lord while developing a healthy and strong vocal foundation.
