Elementary School

Welcome to the elementary school division of Independence Christian. Our elementary school is committed to upholding high academic expectations. We provide small classrooms so that students are provided with one-on-one time and individualized education. Our curriculum challenges our students to think critically about the subjects with an emphasis on practical application rather than just rote memorization.

Our program provides an array of learning experiences in concentrated subject areas, so that your child is engaged in their studies and develops in all areas socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively through language, literacy, math and other disciplinary skills.  We additionally offer fun learning events such as Spelling Bees, Math Olympics, Speech Meet, Art Festivals, and Christmas and Spring Musicals.

Our highly educated team members are not only caring and passionate about guiding students academically but they are also caring and passionate about living by Christian principles.  All personnel of Independence Christian School must first and foremost give evidence that they have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Then, they must display good parental traits. Finally, they must be able to teach. All three of these qualifications are essential in order to have a properly balanced role model. This is the part the teacher plays in a child’s life.
