Elementary School
Welcome to the Elementary School division of Independence Christian School, where we are committed to high academic standards and Christ-centered education. With small class sizes, students benefit from individualized attention and meaningful one-on-one support. Our curriculum challenges students to think critically, with an emphasis on practical application rather than rote memorization.
Our program provides a broad range of learning experiences in core subject areas, engaging students in their studies while supporting growth socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively through language, literacy, math, and other academic disciplines. We also offer enriching experiences such as Art Festivals, Winter and Spring Musicals, Chapel skits that encourage confidence in public speaking, hands-on discovery in our STEAM Lab, and fun school traditions like Spirit Week.
Our highly qualified teachers are dedicated to guiding students academically while modeling Christian principles in daily life. At Independence Christian School, all personnel must first give evidence of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. They are also expected to demonstrate strong character, reflect positive family values, and possess the ability to teach effectively. Together, these qualities help provide students with balanced, Christ-centered role models both inside and outside the classroom.
